Abstract This paper mainly analyzes the difference of family education between china and America in “Modern Family〞 and “A Love for Separation〞 on the three aspects of parent-child relationship and parenting style, parenting expectations and focus. In China, parents tend to focus on the development of intelligence in the growth of children, and that is to say that Chinese parents attach great importance to children’s study. And the parenting style tent to be closed. Conversely, parents in the US generally will not put too much pressure on the children's study and the content of parenting is plentiful. And the ways of parenting is relatively more equal and open. In the aspect of the parent - child relationship, American parents build a democratic and equal relationship with children, while Chinese families relatively lack a democratic and equal way of education. Of course, different ways of education will give rise to different results. Both types of family education have certain advantages and disadvantages. And finally, the reasons for these differences mainly include historical and cultural background, national conditions, thinking styles and value orientation. Key words: Family education; Modern Family; A Love for Separation; China; America 本文主要从亲子关系、教育方式、培养目标与教育侧重点这三个角度出发,分析了中美家庭教育差异在摩登家庭和小别离中的表达。在中国,家长更注重智力的开展,认为学习好才能有个好未来,因而除了学习他们不允许孩子任何事情;而且父母教育孩子的内容比较单一,同样也比较平等、开放。与此相反,美国家长更注重培养和锻炼孩子,侧重于培养孩子适应各种环境和独立生存的能力,而且美国家长大都不会对孩子的学习施加太多压力,反而让他们自由去开展兴趣、培养创造力。因而父母教育内容比较多元化,教育方式比较倾向于封闭。而在亲子关系方面,中国孩子和父母关系不平等,而美国孩子和父母的关系较平等;一般而言,美国家庭以民主平等的教育方式为主,父母与孩子建立民主平等的关系;而中国家庭民主平等的教育方式相对欠缺. 当然,不同的教育方式会造成不同的结果,而结果也有好有坏。而造成这些差异的原因主要是因为中美不同的历史文化背景、国情、思维方式以及价值观。 关键词:家庭教育;摩登家庭;小别离;中国;美国 Contents 云南民族大学毕业论文(设计)原创性声明 i Acknowledgements ii Abstract iii iv I.
