This style is more common in our daily life, but the problem in this respect still needs to be explored. Therefore, the exploration of American humor is closely related to local development and culture. This paper first studies the origin of American humor and its changing course and influence, and puts forward its own opinions. Then, it takes the situational comedy Sisters in Bankruptcy as a typical case, and combines the theoretical knowledge learned and the literature consulted to analyze and compare, in order to be helpful to the study of this issue. 1.
