Step 1: Lead in
Ask several students “What do you have〞. Ask them “Do you have a TV 〞 . “Do you want to watch TV〞
Answer the questions individually or as a whole.
Step 2: Prepare for Mini-show
Give each group a card with a kind of TV show’s name on it.
Prepare for their mini-TV show in groups.

Step 3: Watch the real TV programs
Get the groups of Ss to imitate the real TV shows.
While watching the TV show, the Ss should fill in the chart with the information they get from the show.
Charts for each Ss
Step 4:
Get the Ss to say what the Ss in their groups think of these TV shows.
Report what their opinions are on these mini TV shows designed by their classmates.
Step 5:
Help the Ss to find out their favorite TV program
Choose one program they think is the best.
Task 2: Draw a word map
Aim
n To get the Ss to open their mind and think as many topics as they can to give opinions.
n To improve Ss’ learning strategy.
