Step 2 Check the preview work Step 3 Presentation 1. Show the Ss some pictures of the shops then ask them what shops they are. Teach the new words. Finish off Part 2 .Get Ss to write the correct names of the shops under the pictures. 2. Show the Ss the picture of Sunnyside shopping mall, ask them “What else can we buy in this shopping mall〞 Ss practice asking and answering the questions in pairs. Step 4 Practice 1. T takes out a book and communicates with a student like this. T: I want to buy a book .Where can I buy it S: You can Go to a bookshop./You can go to a …… Students use other objects to practice the dialogue in pairs. 2. Grammar Step 1 Presentation 1. Play a guessing game. (What is she /he doing).T gives each of the four students a piece of paper with some actions. The students show their own actions. The other students guess ‘What is she / he doing’ Ss: He / She is + V-ing. 2. Then T asks the Ss to who show their actions again and answer the question ‘What are you doing’ S: I am +V-ing . T: What is he /she doing Ss: He /She is +V-ing. 3.
