STATE STANDARDS FOR WRITING LA.B.1.2.1 The student prepares for writing by recording thoughts,focusing on central idea,grouping related ideas,and identifying the purpose for writing.LA.4.3.2.1 using a pre-writing plan to focus on the main idea with ample development of supporting details that shows an understanding of facts and/or opinions;LA.B.1.2.2 The student drafts and revises writing in cursive that focuses on the topic;has a logical organization pattern,including a beginning,middle,conclusion,and transitional devices;has ample development of supporting ideas;demonstrates a
