The Tragedy of Hamlet Hamlet ran to his mother's side quickly and asked her, "What happened to you, Queen?" The king told a lie, "The queen saw that you were bleeding. She is frightened and fainted." The queen had seen Claudius' motive clearly. She struggled in pain on the ground and said, "No. My dear Hamlet, the wine is poisonous. I am poisoned." After she said that, she died. Hamlet did not know that it was a murder by mistake. He thought that the king would not kill the queen. So he yelled loudly, "Murder. Close the doors immediately. Investigate who did this." The attendants took actions in a hurry. The king looked at Hamlet coldly. Laertes, who fell down with wound, knew that he was going to die. He looked at the king with grin, and knew suddenly that he was tricked, too. He said to Hamlet, "Hamlet, we are poisoned and can not be healed. We will both die soon. We have been deceived by King Claudius and his conspiracy. All this has happened because of the king's plot." Hamlet now knew the facts. He rose with great anger, and used his last strength, taking the sword with poison he stabbed Claudis fatally. On the one hand, Hamlet rebuked the evil king. On the other hand, he poured the rest of the poisonous wine which Claudius had prepared for Hamlet into Claudius' mouth, and ended the king's wicked life.
