Internet: A Blessing or A Curse It is universally acknowledged that Internet has played a vitally important role in our daily life. Some people firmly believed that Internet benefits us a lot, while others blame it for the problems it has brought. In my point of view, I totally support the idea that Internet is a blessing for it contributes a lot in education and communications. To begin with, Internet provides us with abundant educational materials. We used to study in the library or school in order to collect more educational resources, and the educational informations we could collected are limited. Thanks to the rapid development of Internet, we have opportunity to obtain large amounts of educational resources including both electronic and written materials. The rapid development of Internet breaks the boundary of knowledge, making it possible to share educational informations around the world. So the Internet is beneficial for education. Another advantage lies in enhancing communications among people. Internet has improved our traditional way of communication. Replacing letter and text, various instant messagers shoulder the responsibility of delivering informations. The wide spread of Internet enable us to contact with our friends and families at any time and in any place. With the increasing number of people who have access to Internet, people from all over the world could be closely connected bit by bit. As a result, Internet greatly improves communication. However, we have to admit that the Internet could do harm to people sometimes. For an instance, some children and adults are addicted to online games, some bury themselves in the virtual world, ignoring their real life. But the advantages of the Internet prevail over the disadvantages. If we can use it correctly, we could significantly benefit from it. From what has been mentioned above, we may come to the conclusion that Internet is a blessing for us. It gives us a chance to collect more educational materials and communicate easier with others. As long as we use it properly, our life will be better.
