T: Who’s on duty today？Is everyone here ? b) Revision T:Here is a photo from Lily. Guess who he is? S: Is he Lily’s father? … 2. Presentation. T: Here is a photo, Do you know who he is? S: He is Bush. T: Yes ,he is the president of America.There are many peoeple in his family. Let’s guess who they are. 3. Work on 1a. T: In my family, my grandfather is the oldest one. Every family has a family tree. Look at the family tree. Some words are missing. Who can help me fill it, please? 4. Work on 1b. Listen and check the words. 5.Work on 1c. T: Jiang Tao and Tom are talking about Dave’s family. How many family members are they talking about? Please listen and check the words you hear. T: I have two pictures here. Which one is Jiang Tao talking about? Let’s listen and find it out, please. 5. Work on 1d Talk about the family tree. T: Look at the family tree. I think it’s a big family. You can do it in groups of four or three. You can do it in pairs or only by yourself. 6. Then draw your family trees and show them to us.(Expain your picture.) 7. Summary. Talk about the photos. Guess the family of Bush. Ss do it by individually. Ask one student to the front to do it on the blackboard. Ask one or two Ss talk about the differences. Talk about their family tree freely.
