Section A(1a—1c) 教学内容 本课是人教版八年级上册第六单元内容。本单元的中心话题是“生活目标”,整个单元的内容是围绕“future intentions”这个话题展开的。 本节课讲授Section A第一课时内容,课型是一节听说课 。本节课以提高学生的听力技巧和语言表达能力为目标,锻炼学生们综合运用语言的能力。 教学目标 (一)能力目标: 在本节课结束时,学生能够: 1.能够简单谈论对未来的打算; 2.能够正确使用be going to 结构表示将来; 3.能够正确使用want to be谈论未来的理想。 (二)目标语言: 重点词汇和短语 cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, computer programmer, grow up 重点句型结构 A: What do you want to be when you grow up? B: I want to be a/an... A: How are you going to do that? B: I’m going to... (三) 情感态度价值观目标: 通过学习这单元的内容来激发学生们的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力。 教学重难点 教学重点:能够运用be going to, want to be 结构,谈论理想的内容和实现理想的举措是本节课的教学重点。 教学难点:学生对未来理想的憧憬多种多样,表达时会受到词汇的限制,教师应帮助学生能够正确运用相关职业的词汇来谈论自己的理想职业。 教学方法 媒体辅助法﹑情境教学法﹑视听教学法,小组合作及个人表达相结合。 教学步骤 Step 1.Greeting. Step 2. Show learning aims. Step 3. Lead in Teacher says:“ I’m happy every day, because I have a happy family. Are you interested in my family?”Teacher shows two pictures of her family to lead in job words . 【设计意图】:联系实际生活创设真实语境,学生对自己老师的家庭成员很感兴趣,通过介绍老师家庭成员的职业,进一步询问班内几名学生家人的职业导入新课,学习新词汇。 Step 4.Presentation   1. Show pictures and learn new words. 2.Brainstorming. Ask students to work together in group to write down more jobs they know. 3. Guessing game, teacher says some statements and ask students to guess jobs. 4.Activity 1a, ask students to finish 1a by themselves,then find several students to answer“Of all the jobs, which one is the most/least interesting?” 【设计意图】:展示图片学习新的职业词汇,再通过头脑风暴形式复习学生们已知的职业词汇为后面句型的操练扫清词汇障碍,猜词游戏进一步锻炼了学生听力和理解能力,同时巩固了新词汇。 5.Pairwork. A:What do you want to be when you grow up? B:I want to be a/an… Repeat: A:What does he/she want to be when he/she grows up? B:He/She wants to be a/an… 【设计意图】:学生运用职业词汇进行本课中心句型操练,学生两人一组以第二人称形式操练时,其他同学记录关键词第三人称进行复述,这样小组操练对话时,其他同学有事可做,并锻炼了听、写、说的能力。 6.Listening practice. 1) pre-listening Ask students to look at the pictures carefully and think two questions: What do they want to be when they grow up? How are they going to do that? 2)while-listening Listen to the first time, fill in the blanks.Listen to the second time and match the items. 3)post-listening 1.Ask students to check answers in pairwork by: What does Tina want to be when she grows up? She wants to be a/an… How is she going to do that? She is going to… Then find some pairs to act out the conversations. 2.Follow the tape to read listeng tapescripts. 【设计意图】:学生通过观察图片带着问题听录音为听中活动做铺垫,根据学生听中完成情况播放录音次数,听后以对话形式结对订正答案,锻炼学生口语表达能力。跟读听力材料帮助学生语音语调的模仿,为后面的对话操练奠定基础。 7.Pairwork. A: What do you want to be when you grow up? B: I want to be a/an… A: How are you going to do that? B: I’m going to... Repeat: A: What does she/he want to be when she/he grows up? B: She/He wants to be a/an… A: How is he/she going to do that? B: She/He is going to.. 【设计意图】:对本课重点句型进行操练,学生两人一组以第二人称形式操练时,其他同学记录关键词第三人称进行复述,这样小组操练对话时,其他同学有事可做,并锻炼了听、写、说的能力。 8.Make a survey. Name What does he/she wants to be when he/she grows up? How is he/she going to do that?                   Report: I have a dream job, I wants to be a/an…I am going to…Lily wants to be a/an….She is going to… 【设计意图】:本活动是半控制(话题固定)半开放(人物不同,理想不同)的口语活动。小组讨论的形式能让教师尽量保证学生参与度,同时也给了学生更多发挥的空间。 Step 5.Do exercises. 1. 3a Match what these people want to do with what they are going to do.Check answers by conversations in pairs. For example: 1). -What does your friend want to be when she grows up? -She wants to be an engineer. -How is she going to do that? -She is going to study math. 2. Ask students to finish test paper by themselves(5 minutes). Check answers in groups. 一根据汉语及首字母提示完成句子。 1. His grandfather was a ___________(飞行员) twenty years ago. 2. Mom is away and I have to _______(烹饪)meals for myself this week. 3. My mother is a d__________. She works in a hospital. 4. Peter is going to be an e_________. He studies math really hard. 5. Jane often _____________(练习) playing the piano every night. 二用所给词的适当形式填空。 6.-What are you going to ________(do) tomorrow? - I’m going to ______(visit) my uncle. 7.Lang Lang is a famous __________(piano). 8.She is going to be a __________(violin) when she grows up. 9.-What does your father do?- He is a __________(drive). 10.-Do you know the __________(science)?-Yes, he is Yuan Longping. 【设计意图】:巩固学生重点词汇和短语的运用能力和重点句型的操练。 Step 6.Summary. Step 7. Homework    Write a short passage about your friend and your dream jobs.
