In order to improve our sense of responsibility, our school organized a voluntary activity to help the elderly in the local nursing home.
Inspired by the selflessness demonstrated by the volunteers in the pandemic prevention, I took an active part in it, talking with the lonely old people, helping them with their housework and trying my best to amuse them. By the time we left there, I had made friends with some of them.
Looking at their smiling faces, I really felt happy and proud. I think I will continue to be a volunteer whenever I am needed.

Para 1
The next morning Pinty jumped out of bed and went running to find his pencil, but it was not there. He searched everywhere, but there was no sign of it. Pinty began to worry, and he did not know if he had really spent the previous afternoon talking with the little man or whether he had dreamt the whole thing. So, to try to settle the matter, he took a pencil and some paper and tried to draw a little man. It turned out not bad at all, except for a couple of jagged lines. He imagined his bossy little teacher telling him to round out those edges, and that it looked like he was trying to give him spots. Pinty gladly rubbed out those bits and redrew them.
Para 2
He realised that the crazy little teacher had been right: it made no difference whether you had the magic pencil or not; to manage to do things, you only needed to keep trying and to enjoy doing so. From that day on, whenever Pinty tried to draw or paint, or do anything else, he always had fun imagining the result of his work protesting to him and saying ‘Come on, my friend, do me a bit better than that! I can’t go to the party looking like this!’ The courage to accept your own weaknesses and make efforts to improve is all that matters.
故选A。
第28题 A 细节理解题 定位到文章第一段,“4 out of 10 parents and carers are thinking of leaving their careers in classical music due to challenging working practices”可知,调查聚焦于古典音乐行业的劳动力流失这一问题,故选A。
定位到文章倒数第二段,“Only by re-evaluating established working practices, can we begin to deal with wellbeing impacts, inclusion and diversity, and potential loss of talent”可知,只有重新规划已有的工作环境,才能解决上文问题。
故选A。
而且后面还说到we fooled them.
从前文his fighter was destoryed by a missile可知他收到了攻击,所以这里意思是他不得不跳伞逃离。
从后文spent 6 years in a prison可知他进监狱了,所以这里应该是他被抓了,用be seized。
从后文with the tables where the man packed可知,这里应该选择packed,表示这个男人是给他打包降落伞的人。

W: The world is getting warmer. Starting from 2015, these years have been the hottest period in human history. What’s worse, it shows no sign of stopping. According to an analysis by NASA scientists, (17)the average global temperature increases roughly at a rate of 0.15 to 0.20℃ every ten years.
What is going to happen if our planet continues to heat up? Well, normally, (18)the average global temperature should be around 35℃ during summer time. When it gets 2℃ higher, the crop output will start to decrease, people will become easy to feel sick, (18)and mass deaths of coral reefs will begin to occur in oceans. (19)When it comes to 39℃ to 41℃, sea water will drown most of the island countries, people will have to choose to grow sunflowers which can survive in salty soil, (19)and oceans will be crowded with dead bodies of sea creatures. At the average global temperature of 42℃, people will get almost nothing from land anymore, and therefore the remaining orders of the modern society will break down eventually. So is it still possible to save us human species from dying out? Well, I don’t know, (20)but if we could begin to do things like using fewer private cars, unplugging the unused 10 electrical devices, protecting the forests, etc. From now on, maybe we still have a chance.
