一、 教学目标与要求:
1.知识与能力目标
Words: tidy up, invitation
Structures: What are we going to do?
We’re going to have lunch together.
We’re going to sing and dance.
Are you going to have a birthday cake? Yes, I am.
Amy is going to be.
2. 知识目标
(1)学生能够掌握四会单词和句型结构。
(2)根据图片和情境说出单词和句子。
(3)在图文或场景下进行课文的复述。
3. 能力目标
(1)在情景中正确运用英语庆祝生日。
(2)学生能描述将要发生的事情并与别人谈论、问答,表达自己的想法。
4. 情感态度目标
培养能够学生关心他人,积极表达自己的祝福。
培养学生能够按时整理自己的房间及物品的好习惯。
二、 教学重点及难点:
1. What are we going do? We’re going to have lunch together.
2. Are you going to have a birthday cake?
1) 在情景中正确运用英语庆祝生日。
2) 学生能描述将要发生的事情并与别人谈论、问答,表达自己的想法。
三、课前准备:
录音机, CD- Rom, 绘制一张邀请卡,制作相应的课件
四、教学过程:
Step1 Warm-up:
1. 用课件展示一张Daming过生日的图片,并播放“ Happy Birthday!”这首英语歌曲。
2. Free-talk
a. How many children are there? What are they eating?
What are they doing? They’re having a birthday party.
b. 课件缓慢出示一组动作的图片,让学生记忆。教师提问What can they do? They can ________.
c. 把所有的图片同时播出,让学生齐读所有的动词词组。

play the drum
give a present
play with toys
play basketball
eat cake
take pictures
sing a song
Step2 Presentation
1. 展示一个邀请卡,学习单词invitation, 老师提问What’s this? It’s an invitation.
This invitation is from Amy, because she is going to have a birthday party.
观看CD-Rom, How old is she going to be?
学生回答:“She is going to be 11.”
进一步拓展“ How old are you? When’s your birthday? Whose birthday in ______?”
Are you going to have a birthday cake?
2. 再一次观看CD-Rom, 提问两个问题“Is Amy going to have a birthday cake? Who is going to make a birthday cake for Amy?”
Mum is going to make a birthday cake for Amy?
3.听录音,教师提问What are Amy and her friends going to do? 并让学生划出
They’re going to (have lunch, sing and dance, help Mum tidy up)
学习tidy up, 提出希望Tidy your room every week.
Ask and answer in pairs.
4. Play a guessing game.
出示课件,教师说:“ We know Amy is going to have a party. What are they going to have? Ask Amy and use ‘Are you going to have _________?’
Are you going to have _____?
(出示课件,让学生用重点句型进行提
问,教师点击课件中的小喇叭,回答
Yes, we are.或No, we aren’t.
5. Read the passage and circle “ going to”
a. Find and check.
b. Listen and repeat.
c. Act different roles. (小组四人分角色朗读。)
6. Practice
a. Retell the passage.
Fill in the blanks.

2. A game
