2.学习本单三会四会单词与词组:find out, magazine, kangaroo, koala, sport-lover, Australian football, exciting, Sydney, for example, London, Oxford, Big Ben, London Eye, Tower Bridge.
3.学会用will表达一般将来时陈述句,并了解其构成和用法。
4.学习字母组合air在单词中的读音。

Step 1 Free talk
T: I’m going to visit an interesting country this summer holiday. It’s a bid country in the south part of the Earth. It has many interesting animals. It also has a very famous opera house. People there speak English. Which country am I talking about?

T: Where can we find them? Ss: In Australia.
T: Right. This is a kangaroo. That’s a koala.
T: This is the most popular game in Australia, Australian football.
Ss: Australian football.
T: It’s different from English football or American football. There are 18 players in an Australian football team. They use an oval ball, not a round ball. It’s a very exciting game. Players can kick the ball or carry or hit the ball with the hand. Is this a beautiful building? Ss: Yes.
T: It’s an opera house. It’s in Sydney, the biggest city of Australia. Ss: Sydney.
T: The Sydney Opera House is the most famous place in Sydney. It’s a cultural centre for concerts, dramas and operas.

S1: The kangaroo is a large animal. It’s brown. It has a small head and a big body. Its front legs are short. Its back legs are long and strong. It can jump far and high. It has a long tail.
S2: The koala is small. It’s grey. It has large ears. It has no tail. It lives in trees and eats leaves.
