Greet as usual Sing a song ‘London Bridge is falling down’. When the students sing the song, teacher show the word card “falling” 2. Let the students talk about “What do they like to do?” 3. Show some flash cards and do a quick response. While task procedures Show some pictures of room and teach those words T: This is my room. There is a bed, a desk and a wardrobe. I sleep here. It’s my bedroom. Ss: Bedroom. Then show the picture of “Look and learn” 1) Is your living room/ bedroom big or small?(It’s big/ small. ) 2) What is in your living/ bedroom/…? There is a sofa, a TV,…/a bed ,a table and a chair.. 3) What do you do in your living room/ bedroom /…? I watch TV and play games/ sleep and read books… Next, read the songs and consolidate these words T:Where is the living room? Next to the bedroom. Where is the bedroom? Next to the bathroom. Post task activities Work in pairs. Sept2: Presentation 1.Introduce the background of “Earth Hour” T: Earth Hour is on the last of March each year. On that day, from 8:30 to 9:30 in the evening, people turn off the lights to help save energy. 2.Watch the movie and answer the questions. Who? What does she usually do in the evening? What is she doing now?(Earth Hour) Alice Kitty Sally Then, the pupils ask and answer, and help them know more about the story. 1) What do people do during Earth Hour?
