旺旺:知行学堂 Module 2 Unit 6 Family life 教案 课 题 Unit6 Family life (1) 教 学 目 的 1. Help students to master and use new phrases: living room, bedroom, kitchen, do… homework 2. Use ‘ Where are you? I’m in the bedroom.’ 教材分析 重点 Help students to master and use new phrases: do homework, make model plane, wash my hair, cook dinner. 难点 Get understanding of present progressive 教具 Multimedia, word card, 教 学 过 程 教 学 过 程 Pre-task Preparation 1. Greet as usual Sing a song ‘London Bridge is falling down’. When the students sing the song, teacher show the word card “falling” 2. Let the students talk about “What do they like to do?” 3. Show some flash cards and do a quick response. While task procedures Show some pictures of room and teach those words T: This is my room. There is a bed, a desk and a wardrobe. I sleep here. It’s my bedroom. Ss: Bedroom. Then show the picture of “Look and learn” 1) Is your living room/ bedroom big or small?(It’s big/ small. ) 2) What is in your living/ bedroom/…? There is a sofa, a TV,…/a bed ,a table and a chair.. 3) What do you do in your living room/ bedroom /…? I watch TV and play games/ sleep and read books… Next, read the songs and consolidate these words T:Where is the living room? Next to the bedroom. Where is the bedroom? Next to the bathroom. Post task activities Work in pairs. Learn the dialogue in part of “Say and act”. 难点 1.Understand the Earth Hour and what should we do. 2.The key word: Earth Hour, turn off , tell a story 教具 Stickers, Students’ books, flash cards, ppt 教 学 过 程 Step 1: Warm up 1.Greet students 2.Sing a song. Sept2: Presentation 1.Introduce the background of “Earth Hour” T: Earth Hour is on the last of March each year. On that day, from 8:30 to 9:30 in the evening, people turn off the lights to help save energy. 2.Watch the movie and answer the questions. Who? What does she usually do in the evening? What is she doing now?(Earth Hour) Alice Kitty Sally Then, the pupils ask and answer, and help them know more about the story. 1) What do people do during Earth Hour? (People turn off the lights.) 2) What does Alice usually do in the evening? (She usually watches TV with her parents.) 3) Now it’s Earth Hour. Is she watching TV?(No, she’s looking at the stars.) 4) What does Kitty usually do before bedtime?(She usually reads storybooks before bedtime.) 5) It’s Earth Hour now. What’s Kitty doing?(She’s listening to a story.) 3.Read the text, and answer the questions, learn about it. 布置作业 1.Listen and read P38 for five times and try to recite the text ; 2. Pass the sentence patterns one by one. 2). Ask some pupils to retell the story. 3. Presentation 1). Get pupils to listen to the tape of the sound and read after it. 2). Get pupils to read the sounds. 3). Get pupil to find out the other words that have the sounds we learnt before. br /br/:bread, bring,breakfast, brown cr /kr/: ice cream, cross, cry 4). Get pupils to listen to the tape and sing the rhymes with the rhythm.. 4. Practice & Consolidation 1). Do a survey , discuss in pairs , discuss “present progressive”. 2). Think and write , listen to the radio and write down the missing words 3). Do some exercise.
