SomyadministrationandtheRepublicanCongressenactedthelargesttaxreliefsinceRonaldReaganwasintheWhiteHouse.WecuttaxesforeveryAmericanwhopaysincometaxes.Wedoubledthechildtaxcredit.Wereducedthemarriagepenalty.Wecuttaxesonsmallbusiness.Wecuttaxesoncapitalgainsanddividendstopromoteinvestmentandjobs.Andtorewardfamilybusinessesandfarmersforalifetimeofhardworkandsavings,weputthedeathtaxonthepathtoextinction. Nowtheresultsofthesetaxcutsarein.ThetaxcutswepassedhaveleftmorethanatrilliondollarsinthehandsofAmericanworkers,families,andsmallbusinesses,andyouhaveusedthatmoneytofuelastrongandgrowingeconomy.Lastyear,oureconomygrewfasterthananyothermajorindustrializednation.Thisweek,welearnedthatoureconomygrewby1.6percentduringthethirdquarterofthisyear.Asweexpected,thisrateisslowerthaninpreviousquarters.Yettheevidencestillpointstoavibranteconomythatisprovidingmorejobsandbetterwagesforourworkersandhelpingreducethefederaldeficit. SinceAugust2023,theAmericaneconomyhascreatedmorethan6.6millionnewjobs,includingover1.7millionjobsinthepast12monthsalone.Realtake-homewagesareupby2.2percentoverthepastyear,whichmeansanextra$1,300forthetypicalfamilyoffourwithtwowageearners.Andtheeco版权全部nomicgrowthspurredbytaxcutshashelpedreducethedeficit.Taxrevenueshavesoaredastheeconomyhasgrown,allowingustomeetourgoalofcuttingthefederaldeficitinhalf--threeyearsaheadofschedule.
