Designation:F276514An American National StandardStandard Specification forTotal Lead Content in Synthetic Turf Fibers1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F2765;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This specification applies to the maximum content oflead in fibers used in synthetic turf.1.1.1 This specification outlines a test method for samplepreparation and a test method for analyzing the total leadcontent in synthetic turf fibers.1.1.2 This specification outlines guidelines for reportingtotal lead content in synthetic turf fibers.1.2 This specification applies only to synthetic turf fibersmanufactured after Sept.1,2009.1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No other units of measurement are included in thisstandard.1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any, associated with its use.It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use.2.Referenced Documents2.1 ASTM Standards:2E1613
