case designed to be removed foraccess to components within the case.curba component for holding the tumblers in place.diala numerically calibrated part used to align the tumblersand operate the lock.dial and ring(spy-resistant)a dial and ring designed torestrict the unauthorized observation of combination dialing.dial shielda shroud to shield the dial from unauthorizedobservation of combination dialing.drive cama cam that actuates the tumblers by a drive pin andis gated to retract or accept a locking mechanism.drive pina protrusion on or through a drive cam or tumblerwhich drives or turns the next tumbler.fencea part of the lever that fits into tumbler gates,permit-ting the lever to engage the drive cam.flya part that makes contact with the drive pin for rotation ofthe tumblers.gate covera component to prevent the lever from enteringthe tumbler gateway while changing combination.hand of combination, lock installationa type of lockinstallation that is determined by the position of the lock boltviewed from the cover side of the door, that is,vertical up,vertical down, right hand,or left hand.index, changingthe mark on the dial ring used whenchanging the toprevent rotation.key locking dial ringa dial ring containing a key lock tolock dial and prevent rotation.knoba component of some manipulation-resistant-locks thatis rotated on the dial to operate the cam slide.levera part or component that retracts the bolt after align-ment of proper combination.lever screwattached lever to the bolt.lever springapplies directional force to the lever.locating component of the combination lockdesigned to block the bolt if the spindle is punched.removable diala dial that is removable from the spindle.retaining ringa component that holds the tumbler pack onthe tumbler post.spindlea component or part that connects the dial and drivecam.spline keya part that secures the position of drive cam on aspindle in relation to correct dial calibrations.table
