indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision,the year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the U.S.Department of Defense.1.Scope*1.1 This specification2covers plate of a carbon steel orlow-alloy steel base to which is integrally and continuouslybonded on one or both sides a layer of nickel or nickel-basealloy.The material is generally intended for pressure vessel usebut may be used in other structural applications where corro-sion resistance of the alloy is of prime importance.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard.The values given in
