specification covers electric-fusion(arc)-weldedstraight seam or spiral seam steel pipe NPS 16 and over indiameter(inside or outside as specified by purchaser),withwall thicknesses up to34in.(19.0 mm),inclusive.Pipe havingother dimensions may be furnished provided such pipe com-plies with all other requirements of this specification.NOTE1Acceptability for many services may be controlled by codesor standards such as those published by the American National StandardsInstitute and American Society of Mechanical Engineers.NOTE2For testing methods not specifically covered in thisspecification,reference can be made to Test Methods and DefinitionsA370,with particular reference to Annex A2 on Steel Tubular Products.NOTE3A comprehensive listing of standardized pipe dimensions
