Designation:B83415Standard Specification forPressure Consolidated Powder Metallurgy Iron-Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum(UNS N08367),Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Columbium(Nb)(UNS N06625),Nickel-Chromium-Iron Alloys(UNS N06600 and N06690),andNickel-Chromium-Iron-Columbium-Molybdenum(UNSN07718)Alloy Pipe Flanges,Fittings,Valves, and Parts1This standard is issued under the fixed designation B834;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope*1.1 This specification covers pressure consolidated powdermetallurgyiron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum(UNSN08367)and nickel-chromium-molybdenumcolumbium(Nb)(UNS N06625),nickel-chromium-iron alloys(UNS N06600and N06690),and nickel-chromium-iron-columbium(Nb)-molybdenum(UNS N07718)alloy pipe flanges, fittings, valves, and parts intended for general corrosion or heat-resisting service.1.1.1 UNS N06625 products are furnished in two grades ofdifferent heat-treated conditions:1.1.1.1 Grade 1(annealed)Material is normally employedin service temperatures up to 1100F(593C).1.1.1.2 Grade 2(solution annealed)Material is normallyemployed in service temperatures above 1100F(593C)whenresistance to creep and rupture is required.1.2 UNS N08367 products are furnished in the solutionannealed condition.1.3 UNS N06600 products are furnished in the annealedcondition.1.4 UNS N06690 products are furnished in the annealedcondition.1.5 UNS N07718 products are furnished in the solutionannealed+precipitation hardened condition.1.6 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.7 The following safety hazards caveat pertains only to testmethods portions,Sections 7.3 and 13,of this specification:This standard does not purport to address all of the safetyconcerns,if any, associated with its use.It is the responsibilityof the user of this standard to become familiar with all hazardsincluding those identified in the appropriate Safety Data Sheet(SDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,to establish appropriate safety and healthpractices, and to determine the applicability of regulatorylimitations prior to use.2.Referenced
