Designation:D104711Standard Specification forPoly(Vinyl Chloride)Jacket for Wire and Cable1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D1047;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the U.S.Department of Defense.1.Scope*1.1 This specification covers a durable general-purposethermoplastic jacket made from poly(vinyl chloride)or thecopolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate suitable for aminimum installing temperature of 10 C.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are the standard, except in cases where SI units are more appropriate. The valuesin parentheses are for information only.2.Referenced Documents2.1 ASTM Standards:2D1711 Terminology
