Designation:C75213(Reapproved 2016)Standard Specification forNuclear-Grade Silver-Indium-Cadmium Alloy1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C752;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This specification covers silver-indium-cadmium alloyfor use as a control material in light-water nuclear reactors.1.2 The scope of this specification excludes the use of thismaterial in applications where material strength of this alloy isa prime requisite. Also, this material must be protected fromthe primary water by a corrosion and wear resistant cladding.1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No other units of measurement are included in thisstandard.2.Referenced Documents2.1 ASTM Standards:2C760
