standard replaces ANSI N101.4 and provides acommon basis for,and specifically comprises quality assurancerequirements applicable to,safety-related protective coatingwork in Coating Service Level I areas of nuclear facilities asdefined in Guide D5144.1.2 This standard meets the requirements of ANSI N101.4while also recognizing advancements in technology and indus-try practices since transfer to ASTM responsibility forupdating,rewriting,and issuing replacement standards toANSIN101.4.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any,associated with its use.It is
