Designation:D 3770 91Standard Specification forFlexible Cellular MaterialsHigh-Resilience PolyurethaneFoam(HR)and Combustion Modified High Resilience(CMHR)Polyurethane Foam1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 3770;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon(e)indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This specification covers the minimum physical proper-ties and other requirements for high-resilience polyurethanefoam(HR)and combustion modified high resilience polyure-thane foams(CMHR).1.2 Combustion modified high resilience polyurethanefoams are high resilience foams that have been modified tomeet specific flammability requirements.1.3 This specification includes references to governmentregulations for burning characteristics of flexible cellularmaterials used in specific applications(see Table 1).2.Referenced Documents2.1 ASTM Standards:D 3453 Specification for Flexible Cellular MaterialsUrethane for Furniture and Automotive
