reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon(e)indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This test method covers an engine test procedure forevaluating diesel engine oils for performance characteristics,including lead corrosion and wear of piston rings and cylinderliners.2This test method is commonly referred to as the MackT-9.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as thestandard.The values given in parentheses are for informationonly.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any,associated with its use.It is
