editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This test method is to be used to determine either theabsolute or relative spectral responsivity response of a single-junction photovoltaic device.1.2 Because quantum efficiency is directly related to spec-tral responsivity,this test method may be used to determine thequantum efficiency of a single-junction photovoltaic device(see 10.10).1.3 This test method requires the use of a bias light.1.4 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard.No other units of measurement are included in thisstandard.1.5 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any,associated with its use.It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health reference photodetector ordevice under test.3.2.6 monochromator,nan optical device that allows aselected wavelength of light to pass while blocking otherwavelengths.3.2.7 power mode calibration,na
